Feature Introduction
Feature Entrance
- Feature Entrance: Top Icon > Notification Icon
- This entrance is not controlled by permission points and configurations, and anyone can see it
- If there are unread messages, the number of unread messages will be indicated in the upper right corner of the icon, and it will be displayed as 99+ if the number exceeds 99
Feature Introduction
- Clicking on the notification center icon will bring up the message drawer
- The top of the message is the primary category, which includes: All, Notifications, Announcements
- Notifications are triggered by project-specific events and suitable for emphasizing the message with personal attributes, such as email sending failure, approval, messages shared by others, etc.
- Announcements are triggered by events that concern all project members and are intended for general information, such as online upgrades
- All includes both notifications and announcements
- Below are secondary categories for further filtering of messages:
- Notifications: Analysis queries, file generation, overviews, alerts, approvals, etc.
- Announcements: Sent mailbox settings, upgrade notifications, etc.
- If you only want to view unread messages, you can check "Only show unread".
- If you want to quickly mark all unread messages as read, you can click the "Mark all as read" feature in the upper right corner.
- If a single message is unread, a red dot will be displayed, and when you hover the mouse over it, it will become a "Mark as read" button.
- If you want to quickly query/batch operate/other advanced functions on messages, you can click the icon in the upper left corner to enter the message notification list page.
- The message itself enhances the content it carries:
- Message sub-category
- Message title
- Message body (text, image)
- Jump link
- Attachment, supports downloading
- Message sending time
- Whether the message is expired
- On the message notification list page, you can also perform "category filtering, view only unread, mark all as read" and other operations
- By selecting multiple messages, the "Batch mark as read" function button will appear
- If you do not want the corresponding popup to appear when you receive a message, you can configure it through "Notification Settings"
- Notification settings list the message categories. If certain (several) types of messages do not need popups, you only need to turn off the reminders.
New function
In sbp 1.4.2+(inclusive), the "Send Announcement" feature was added. Through this function, customers can customize the message content and send messages to all members of the platform in the form of announcements.
1. Function entry
This feature can be accessed in the following ways:
- Click the message notification icon at the top of the navigation
- Click "View More Messages" to go to the Message Notification Center list page
- Click "Send all staff instant Announcement"
Click "Send all staff instant announcement", the corresponding side drawer will appear:
- Bulletin title: Mandatory. Manually enter the title. A maximum of 50 characters are supported
- Bulletin body. This parameter is mandatory and can be entered manually. A maximum of 2000 characters are supported
- Recipient, all staff, not modifiable
After filling in the title and body, click "Send now" to have a second confirmation, and after confirming again, the announcement will be sent to all staff
All staff under the platform will be reminded of the announcement message; The pop-up corresponding to the message will not automatically disappear, you must manually close or click "know" to close
